What is PAHD-I program? Prenatal Attachment Healthy Development Intervention is a 3-day workshop that provides parents an opportunity to create an attachment and memory with their child before birth!

How will attending the PAHD-I program help our family ? The PAHD-I workshop is designed to ENHANCE FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS by educating, preparing and empowering parents to have healthy relationships with their children.

PAHD-I WORKSHOP

UNLIKE OTHER PRENATAL OR PARENTING CLASSES, I WILL TEACH YOU HOW TO BOND AND CREATE ATTACHMENT MEMORY WITH YOUR BABY BEFORE BIRTH, ACTUALLY SEEING THE RESULTS AFTER YOUR BABY IS BORN.

For those of you who are pregnant and searching for innovative prenatal classes to prepare for your new arrival --I have some great news! I have spent the past thirteen years developing an interactive prenatal program to empower parents to develop positive relationships with their children. The PAHD-I program was developed using the most recent scientific research on prenatal attachment, positive parenting, positive communication, stress management, self-care during pregnancy, fetal and child development, do's and don'ts during and after pregnancy, and ways to prevent depression during and after pregnancy.

The PAHD-I program is also an interactive support group for mommy and baby, or mommy, daddy and baby-- the workshop is open to pregnant women during their second and third trimester of pregnancy. You will experience and learn information and techniques that you have not learned previously, even if you are an experienced mom you will walk away from the PAHD-I experience enlightened--- I guarantee it! Completion of the PAHD-I workshop ensures that you will be prepared for your baby’s arrival! Don’t allow your opportunity to slip away! Classes are limited to 15 participants per workshop and they fill up quickly!

What does the research say?

• By 8 weeks gestational age, your embryo is sensitive to touch (Montagu, & Adubato 1978).
• By 14 weeks gestational age, your child can taste the difference between sweet and sour (Smotherman & Robinson, 1995).
• By 16 weeks gestational age, your child can hear, even before his ear is structurally complete (Sheahidullah & Hepper, 1992).
• By 26 weeks gestational age, your child can feel pain (Ginnakoulopoulos, Sepulveda, Kourtis, Glover, & Fisk, 1994).
• By 34 weeks gestational age, your child has some level of memory ( DeCasper & Fifer, 1980).
  During the past decade, there has been much research that indicates that a 34 week old fetus is intelligent.
